Aprofessional energy assessment is the first step toward an effective energy efficiency action plan that could
save your business thousands of dollars in
utility bills, and may also lead to energy tax
credits and rebates.
So through September 1, 2012, COSE
will help Ohio small businesses receive
energy assessments at a fraction of the
normal cost through the Ohio Small
Business Energy Efficiency Program.

improvement, as well as available grants,
tax incentives and rebates.

STEP 1: Complete the Small Business
Energy Efficiency Program Application at
SmallBizEnergySaver.org.
STEP 2: Get a comprehensive energy assessment from a certified energy auditor.
•;Free energy assessment for home business and commercial spaces up to 5,000
square feet. Additional costs may apply.
Who is eligible?
All businesses that spend less than
$150,000 each year on energy and are also
associated with their local Small Business
Development Center (SBDC) or chamber
of commerce. Residential-based businesses
must be a COSE member to apply. If you
are not eligible, email energy@cose.org.
