1099-MISC
Update
The Patient Protection and
Affordable Care Act of 2010
expanded the need to file a
Form1099-MISC for payments of
$600 or more to corporations. This
was repealed in April; however
filing of Form 1099-MISC for
other businesses remains the
same. Please consult your tax and
accounting professionals for more
information on when to file 1099-
MISC forms.
Conference Draws Crowds
It had every quality of a good party: inspiring A-listers in business, stimulating
conversation, a big crowd and lots of activity. The COSE Small Business
Conference drew more than 1,400 attendees for workshops, networking,
keynotes and hands-on learning labs. But the real take-away for those who
pressed pause on their daily routine to attend the annual event at the I-X
center was a chance to recharge, refresh—and perhaps gain the knowledge
and inspiration to reinvent the way they do business.
